The Creative Movement Academy

Register for Winter 2013 Student Concert

Calling all student dancers! The Center for Contemporary Dance offers a performance-based education without competitions or recitals. All students, regardless of age or skill level, are guaranteed a role in a fully-themed Winter Concert that takes place in December at the close of the fall term. The 2013 WinterConcert, Joyful & Triumphant, showcases soulful dance works that explore perspectives in peace, from the smallest of efforts to global encounters. Dance works are created by faculty choreographers and guest choreographers.

Featuring CCD’s professional ensembles and supported by United Arts of Central Florida, the 2012-2013 Season of Dance spotlights world-class performances that celebrate the cultural and artistic diversity of our community. Performances include exciting collaborations, intimate retrospectives by artistic directors, and compelling new works examining historic human experiences!
