The Center for Contemporary Dance proudly presents its Tenth Annual Season of Dance!
Featuring new and repertory works that celebrate the cultural and artistic diversity of our community, the 2011-2012 Season of Dance includes world-class performances that attract more than 8,000 audience members from five Central Florida counties, with an additional 3.2 million viewers reached through televised performances. From epic performances exploring African-American history to intimate new works by award-winning choreographers, the 2011-2012 Season of Dance has something for everyone. Performances support more than 200 exceptional artists in fields that include dance, visual arts, technical design, music and writing. Additionally, ticket revenue is used to produce innovative arts programs that cultivate literacy, self-confidence and creative expression in underserved youth, senior citizens and minority populations.
