The Center for Contemporary Dance is located in the Winter Park Commerce Center, just 3 miles from Rollins College and the heart of Winter Park, FL. The space is actively utilized for private parties, corporate meetings, auditions and rehearsals for professional and community events. Past clients include VEE Corporation (producers of Curious George Live! and Sesame Street Live!), NTG Dance, New York City's Career Transition for Dancers, the Orange County Arts Education Center and many more.
The organization welcomes short-term rental requests from corporations, producers, performance companies, event planners and independent artists. To inquire about renting a studio, please submit a Studio Request Form below. Rental requests are not accepted by phone or email and should be submitted at least 14 days prior to the date of the event. Emerging choreographers and dance companies seeking long-term use of the facilities should review the details of the Residency Program, which has been supporting the development and launch of contemporary/modern dance artists since 2007. Artists supported by the Residency Program include Patelworks Dance Theater, DRIP, Nao Dance Collective, Tajma and Emotions Dance Company. |

Rent A Studio
The Center for Contemporary Dance has two large studio spaces available for rent. Both studios are climate-controlled and equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, sound systems and Marley flooring. If you are interested in renting a studio, please fill out the Rental Request Form. |

Residency Program Application Guidelines The Center for Contemporary Dance encourages contemporary/modern dance choreographers and artistic directors from all backgrounds to apply. It is recommended that applicants come not with specific projects in mind, but a willingness to share their skills and sensibilities, and an openness to discovering new projects through collaboration with others. Residency Term: One year from the date of acceptance. All decisions are announced within 30 days from the date of receipt.
