The Nia
Technique
Sometimes
referred to as ‘aerobic yoga,’ The Nia
(pronounced ‘nee-uh’) Technique is a joyous integrative movement and
lifestyle practice—a fusion of dance, martial arts and yoga. Blending both Eastern and
Western philosophies, Nia is perfect for those who welcome
creativity and flexibility in a wellness program. Nia is suitable for any age
group, and students can choose between three different intensity
levels. The key to all
Nia movements is to think about how you feel rather than trying to
keep up with the instructor or other participants. Regardless of how fit you
are, your instructor will guide you at your own pace. To

Dance Basics
Now there’s no excuse not to dance! Dance Basics is a child-free
class where adults new to dance may comfortably explore their
interest in the Dance Arts.
Dance Basics provides a fun, safe and rewarding environment
where adults receive instruction in the fundamentals of dance,
including proper body alignment, balance, technique and
terminology. The class
also allows students to learn short dance combinations where new
information can be integrated and applied. To register for

Adult Ballet
This
introductory ballet class offers a safe and encouraging environment
for non-dancers and returning dancers. Students will learn the basic
ballet positions (including proper terminology), which are the
foundation of all dance styles. Students also learn to apply
these basic positions into short combinations of achievable dance
while connecting with their bodies and improving strength,
flexibility, posture, balance, and endurance. This class is a great place

The Ballet Workout
Workout like a dancer! Popular in celebrity
circles, this class is geared towards non-dancers
and beginners who are looking to learn the elegant lines of ballet
while getting fit. This
class incorporates basic ballet moves that anyone can do and applies
them in a concentrated (and fun!) way. Focusing on toning, cardio,
core strengthening and muscle lengthening, The Ballet Workout is
ideal for anyone looking to drop pounds and get the lean look of a
dancer. Ballet Workout classes take place every Saturday
from 10am to 11am. Private Ballet Workout classes are also

Breathing & Yoga
Fundamentals
There’s
an art to proper breathing and, once you begin, you’ll never look
back! Breathing &
Yoga Fundamentals provides a foundation in breathing coordination
and basic yoga, essential to overall well-being. This safe and
gentle class is designed for students of all levels, from
beginners to advanced students looking to refine their skills. Facilitated by a mind-body
teacher with over 30 years of experience, Breathing & Yoga
Fundamentals teaches students how to reduce stress, achieve deeper
relaxation, increase mobility, address areas of tension and maintain
