PRODUCTION SCHEDULE FOR STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN
PERFORMANCE PREPARATION CLASSES
Spring Semester 2010: Monday, January 4th –
Saturday, May 1st
All
students are invited to participate in a final one-hour spring
concert to be presented at
12:30pm
on Sunday,
May 2, 2010 at The Osceola Center
for the Arts in
Kissimmee,
FL. Because recitals and competitions
are not part of The Center's teaching
philosophy, semester-end concerts provide an
opportunity to present an age- and level-appropriate contemporary
dance works that challenge the student technically and
artistically. As a
result, students will receive firsthand experience in the creative
process and staging of a professional dance production.
Rehearsal classes listed below are deducted
from Dance Cards
at the regular per-hour rate. Rehearsal
classes are included in tuition fees paid by Pre-Professionals and
students with Semester or Monthly Access Passes. Any
student absent from three
(3) or more rehearsals may be excused from participation. There are no additional
performance or costume fees.
Tickets to the spring concert are $18 and include access to
Moore Dance Project’s 2pm
presentation of Icarus, immediately following the
student performance.
