Summer Workshop Series

Designed to expand the dancer’s technical and artistic skills, the Summer Workshop Series is comprised of 12 specialty workshops that take place weekly, every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, beginning June 2 and ending on August 20, 2009 (see complete schedule below).  

 

Led by The Center’s Master Teachers, the Summer Workshop Series purposefully includes unique and focused areas of study that will broaden the student’s movement vocabulary and artistic range.  Add a Summer Workshop to your current class studies and see how quickly you grow! 

 

 

 

 

Workshop Fee

Each weekly workshop is $45.

Tuesday, June 2 and Thursday, June 4 ~ 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Level:  Beginners and students wishing to review technique

Areas of Exploration:  Modern dance fundamentals; Graham Technique

SWS0902   Advancing Technique Through Choreography - Part 1

Tuesday, June 9 and Thursday, June 11 ~ 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Level:  Intermediate/Advanced. This is a two-part class (see below for Part 2).  Students may take Part 1, Part 2 or both.

Areas of Exploration:  Contemporary and modern dance; integrated body awareness; performance development

Instructor:  Collaboratively taught by Dario J. Moore and Linda Eve Elchak
