The Center produces work for these founding companies:

U-Turn Dance Company

U-Turn Dance Company is The Center's youth ensemble (ages 9-17), which made its Central Florida debut in 2001 and performs regularly both in mainstage productions as well as in specialty arts-education programs throughout Central Florida and nationally.

Entry into U-Turn Dance is highly selective and provides talented young dancers professional training at no cost. The company is primarily dedicated to meeting the artistic needs of talented, economically-disadvantaged youth. UTD²

UTD²made its Central Florida debut in May 2006. The Company is composed of talented and fearless dance professionals who freely take emotional and creative risks on stage. The Company’s work has been described as moving, insightful and transformative.

Fusing contemporary and lyrical dance, UTD² seamlessly blends elegance and rawness, taking audiences to new places artistically and emotionally. If you are interested in auditioning for UTD², please visit our Audition Page to learn more.
