The Center’s audition-based Pre-Professional Program prepares
dedicated and passionate dancers ages 9-17 for a career in the
Dance Arts.
Pre-professionals participate in a rigorous training
program and learn necessary skills that prepare them for entry into
a professional dance company, including those operating out
of The Center.
All
classes are conducted in accordance with the National
Standards for Dance Education, used by higher
universities throughout the nation, and provide the student with a
comprehensive
approach to the dance arts. Classes are designed to
train the Pre-Professional in areas of technique, artistic
development, production, wellness/nutrition and arts
management. Additionally, all Pre-Professionals
attend monthly mentorship workshops, where industry
professionals offer guidance in audition preparation, business
management and career longevity. Detailed audition information
