J. Moore, Co-Founder & Artistic Director
Dario
J. Moore is an educator, humanitarian, and passionate artist. Mr. Moore holds an M.A.
degree in Dance Education from American University and has
taught dance of all disciplines at various colleges throughout
Central Florida. In
addition to overseeing The
Center’s dance
programs and performance companies, he directs U-Turn Dance Company and Moore Dance
Project. Mr. Moore
founded The Center
to develop an
active and stable culture of contemporary dance in Central

Craig W. Johnson,
Co-Founder & Executive
Director
Craig W. Johnson is a writer,
director, producer and advocate for the arts. Mr. Johnson is a graduate of
Rollins College and, with more than twelve years of arts
management experience, he is primarily responsible for developing
and implementing The Center for Contemporary Dance’s
programs, performance
schedule and marketing strategies. Mr. Johnson founded The Center to provide
artists a platform to express their voices as they work in
collaboration to expand our Community’s access to the arts. E-mail Craig W. Johnson
Kim M. Johnson, Director of
Development & Student
Relations
Kim M. Johnson is responsible for overseeing the financial
administration of The
Center. In this
capacity, she provides the leadership, strategic direction and
coordination for The Center’s fundraising efforts, including research for
grant opportunities, grant solicitation and gifts from foundations,
corporations and individuals, as well as special projects,
fund-raising events and marketing assistance. Her work is driven by a
commitment to increasing Central Florida’s access to the traditions

Sherrie Flack, Director of
Volunteer Services
Sherrie
Flack is a mother, wife and dedicated arts supporter with a passion
for dance. Prior to
joining The Center for
Contemporary Dance, Ms. Flack worked in the public school
system as a Behavior Assistant, managing students with autism and
related disabilities.
Ms. Flack oversees The
Center’s volunteer program and is responsible for recruiting,
training and managing The
Center’s volunteer staff. Ms. Flack also teaches for
The Center’s Nia
program, which combines dance, yoga and martial

Jeré James, Rehearsal
Director
Jeré James has been dancing for the past 23 years. She trained under the
direction of Joan Miller with the Palm Beach Ballet Center. Ms. James attended Alvin
Ailey American Dance Theatre’s summer intensive program and was
asked to join their second company, Ailey II. She decided to continue her
education and received a B.A. from the University of Central Florida
in International Business with a minor in Dance. In addition to her role as
Rehearsal Director, Ms. James is a teacher for The Center’s Pre-Professional Program. E-mail Jere James
